Details
Our Academy soccer program is tailored for boys and girls aged 8-11, ensuring a well-rounded and competitive experience under the expert guidance of licensed and staffed Union 10 coaches. The 16-week season is designed for optimal player development, with two training sessions per week, each lasting one hour and fifteen minutes.
Our Academy teams actively participate in the Across Borders League (ABL), engaging in four Saturday play dates featuring two games for each team against league club opponents, including SMSC, Saraland Soccer Club, and other clubs along the Gulf Coast area. The season kicks off with two SNAP play dates in Foley, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida, setting the tone for the competitive journey ahead.
As the season progresses, teams compete in the Publix Cup, providing an exciting early-season tournament experience, followed by the Coastal Academy Cup towards the close of the season. These tournaments, along with the league play, allow for a minimum of 16 matches, fostering growth and teamwork.
In addition to league play and tournaments, our program offers flexibility with the potential for additional inter-club matches and local friendlies, allowing coaches to tailor the experience for their teams. Furthermore, Academy players have the option to enhance their skills through additional club training opportunities, such as Movement Monday, Technical Tuesday, World Cup Wednesday, Girls Only Skills Night, and Goal Keeper Training. Join us in creating a pathway for young talents to thrive and excel in the world of soccer.
A Union 10 FC Baldwin County training top will be issued to players shortly after the initial practices begin.
