Details
In the Spring of 2021, Union 10 FC Baldwin County forged a groundbreaking partnership with US Youth Soccer, joining the select ranks of five youth soccer organizations under the Alabama Soccer Association. This collaboration aimed to establish a dedicated soccer program for young children aged 5 – 17, encompassing a diverse range of diagnoses. Our mission is to provide these individuals with a unique opportunity to learn the sport of soccer, engage in gameplay, and foster connections with peers, youth volunteers, trained coaches, and other supportive adult personnel within a secure and encouraging environment.
The 8-week program includes an hour-long weekly training, designed as a class, to accommodate participant numbers ranging from 12-15.
Led by a head coach, assisted by a licensed public school special education teacher, and supported by young “buddy” players from our youth club program, each session culminates in a group “competitive” soccer game. This comprehensive approach aims to empower these young individuals to integrate as valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.
Players will be issued a TopSoccer training shirt, and soccer balls will be provided. Please be prepared with water and athletic attire.
